Existing buildings
Whether you're looking to reduce running costs on an individual building or address the carbon footprint across an entire estate, we can help. We can provide detailed feasibility, cost analysis and project management for decarbonisation and produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for any building.

Energy performance certificates
Under the Energy Performance of Buildings Regulations, an EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) is required whenever a building is constructed, sold or rented.

What's it all about?

One of the main purposes of an EPC is to allow prospective buyers or tenants to compare the energy performance of buildings they are considering renting or purchasing. The EPC shows an energy rating from A to G in a similar way to how electrical appliances are rated.

It is the construction of the building (walls, floor, roof, glazing) along with the services (heating, ventilation, lighting etc) that influences the rating rather than the actual fuel bills. It was intended as a way for potential tenants or buyers to be able to compare similar buildings in terms of their energy performance.

What does it involve?

An energy assessor carries out a survey of the building to collect information on the construction and building services and then uses this information to build an energy model using an approved software.

The first step is usually to upload the plans for the building and we can get back to you with a timeframe and cost for producing the EPC.
How can we help?
We can provide Level 3, 4 and 5 EPCs for any building type regardless of the size or complexity and have been doing so since the regulations came into force in 2008. Simply upload your plans using the form below and we will provided you with a quote within 24 hours. We will then arrange a convenient time to carry out the site survey and for most projects we will have the EPC registered within 3-5 days of the site visit.
